Known for his powerful vocals and emotional storytelling, Marx has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, earning his place as one of pop-rock’s most enduring artists. His self-titled debut album reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and produced four Top 5 singles, including “Hold On to the Nights” and “Don’t Mean Nothing,” the latter earning him a Grammy nomination. His 1989 follow-up, Repeat Offender, hit No. 1, went quadruple platinum, and included two No. 1 hits: “Satisfied” and the global anthem “Right Here Waiting.” Marx made history as the only male artist whose first seven singles reached the Billboard Top 5.
