During a more than fifty-year performing and recording history, Little Joe y La Familia has become one of the most popular Tex-Mex bands in the industry. Over the decades, the group has developed a unique style, imbuing its sound with norteno, country, blues and rock-and-roll music. Little Joe has been recording albums since the 1960s and has racked up five Grammy Awards.
Growing up in Texas, Mexican singer José María De León Hernández, better known as Little Joe, came from a musical family. He joined his cousin's band at age 13 and never looked back. He's known for performing many genres of music including Noretno, Tejano and Chicano.
