Warm hospitality and personalized service keep small and large groups coming back to Laughlin every year. In this bustling little town on the banks of the Colorado River, resorts and outdoor venues combine for more than 145,000 square feet of meeting space to accommodate a wide range of group needs.

Military groups, associations, fraternal organizations and even family reunions have looked to Laughlin for decades as a great spot to connect with colleagues, family and friends while enjoying river fun and great entertainment along Casino Drive. Here are some of the top spots groups call home for their gatherings.

Big splashes
The Aquarius Casino Resort offers the largest meeting space footprint in Laughlin, totaling more than 50,000 square feet. That includes 30,000 square feet of ballroom and convention space with four breakout rooms and a wedding chapel. The property also offers other group-friendly touches like Laughlin’s only smoke-free lounge, the Cove, and the Splash nightclub can also be reserved for group events. There’s a resort-style swimming pool, more than 1,900 rooms and 96 one and two-bedroom suites. The Aquarius is also located within walking distance of the Laughlin Events Center, where major headliners can entertain crowds ranging from 9,300 to 21,000.

Top Trop and more
Sometimes overlooked for not being directly on the banks of the Colorado River, the Tropicana Laughlin Hotel & Casino sets at the center of casino row and has become a favorite for groups. The Tropicana has added numerous upgraded features in the past few years including Brew Brothers Tap House and features three themed hospitality suites.

There’s more than 12,000 square feet of meeting rooms with access to live entertainment and nightclub spaces. Classroom and banquet capacities can accommodate 520 and 610, respectively. The Tropicana is also home to the Victory Plaza, a recently expanded outdoor entertainment destination adjacent to the casino that’s great for group gatherings where you can enjoy the cool Laughlin evenings and spectacular sunsets.

The Edgewater Casino Resort is centrally located on the west bank of the Colorado River. Most rooms have river and mountain views. The 27,000-square foot E Center offers theatre capacity of up to 2,500 guests and there are more intimate suites and meeting rooms available for smaller groups, too.

Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino offers something unique for groups, with its 8,000 square-foot Starview Room, which has a wall of windows overlooking the Colorado River as well as multiple breakout rooms. For RV enthusiasts, the resort offers 740 full hook-ups in its RV park. The Riverside also boasts an antique car museum, bowling center, two pools, and day spa and narrated boat cruise that takes off from its dock daily

For a small, intimate feel
There are many options for small groups who can enjoy Laughlin’s personalized service. The Golden Nugget Laughlin can accommodate groups from 30 to 300. The outdoor spa overlooking the river, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co’s River Walk dining and Gold Digger’s Nightclub keep visitors coming back. The Gold Rush Villa is a luxury two-story three bedroom villa perfect for a bachelorette party or a couples’ getaway.

While it can accommodate larger groups with a capacity ranging between 80 and 700, Harrah’s Laughlin is great for groups who want to enjoy a smaller feel and personalized touches like a private sandy beach, spa packages and a smoke-free casino space. Laughlin River Lodge, with its upgraded rooms, refurbished gym and more than 11,000 square feet of meeting space, is also great for small groups looking for good value, great views of the Colorado and wonderful updated amenities.
