Discover more about the area! The Colorado River Museum building is an important historical landmark. It was built in 1947 to serve the population of workers who were building Davis Dam. You'll find interesting displays, artifacts and memorabilia of the area and the history of the people that made it all happen. The Museum is located 1/4 mile north of the Laughlin Bridge at Davis Camp and is open September through June, Tue - Sun, 10am to 4pm.

Several miles of Laughlin’s northern Colorado River front are transformed into a recreational paradise. A trails system offering a variety of walks and hikes, practical fishing nodes and a fully appointed day-use park, with Davis Dam as its backdrop, are main features. The project, including three developed trailheads and a signature pedestrian overpass, enhances Laughlin’s unique quality of life and its “soft adventure-appeal” while protecting natural and cultural resources on US Bureau of Reclamation lands in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

The West at its best can only be seen from horseback. You will experience the rugged beauty of the Black Mountains while riding trails once used by the U.S. Calvary to connect Kingman to Ft. Mohave. Cross paths where Apache warriors desperately tried to keep their land from settlers. The trail ends in the famous ghost town of Oatman, Arizona, where gunfights still rage and wild burros still roam. Offering half-hour, one and two hour rides; Chuckwagon dinner rides (groups and parties); gold panning trips and stagecoach rides. Reservations are definitely recommended.

Come get dirty and have a rockin’ good time! Put on your driving shoes and climb into one a high performance Polaris RZR 900 UTV’s and explore the rugged terrain of the Arizona Black Mountains. There are three tours to choose from: Mount Nutt, Thumb Butte or Black Mountain. All tours are 3-4 hours in duration and lead by an experienced guide. Tours run Tuesday through Saturday, and are available morning and afternoon.
